A San Jose native, Steve Taormina grew up in Willow Glen and Almaden Valley before graduating from San Jose’s distinguished Leland High School. He continued his education at the University of Phoenix where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration followed by a successful, 13-year career in software sales. During that time, he purchased, improved, and sold several homes. Most were personal residences and some were investment properties. All were exciting, educational, and positive experiences which would become the foundation for a complete change in his professional future. He became fascinated with real estate development, trends, sales activity, and prices in this productive and desirable area we know as Silicon Valley. A place Steve has always known as “home”.

In 2005, he made a bold decision to combine his education and work experience with his passion for Bay Area real estate. He left his career in high-tech software sales, obtained his California Real Estate Salespersons license, and quickly became a top producing agent in Willow Glen helping people buy and sell properties from Gilroy to Los Altos with most activity falling within his beloved home town of San Jose. Steve has a particularly extended level of knowledge and expertise with San Jose’s Willow Glen, Rosegarden, St. Leo’s, and Central Downtown neighborhoods.

Steve’s experience and history with San Jose and surrounding Silicon Valley equips him with an unparalleled awareness of local trends and micro-markets unique to this area. His corporate sales experience developed a level of professionalism and communication skills which has earned the respect of his business peers and affiliates. These skills allow him to successfully negotiate real estate transactions in the best interest of his clients wether they are selling a home, purchasing a home, or both.

For sellers specifically, Steve’s solid marketing plan insures maximum market exposure and often attracts multiple offers well over his clients' expectations. He hires a professional photographer for property photos and uses Sereno Group’s talented marketing team, Sereno Studios, for the development of marketing materials such as flyers, postcards, signage, and e-marketing. He maintains a strong connection with the local Real Estate community and has a reputation for being a pleasure to work with. Steve’s solid relationships with other realtors and regular attendance to weekly broker’s meetings keeps him well informed of properties on and off the market.

Outside of his Real Estate career, Steve serves as Treasurer on the Board of Directors for the Cahill Park Homeowner's Association - an elected position he has enjoyed for several terms. In his spare time he enjoys working out, vacationing with his children, and exploring his artistic talents with oil paints.
